ok thank you too! now when you update the versione by git tags remember to update package.json with same version number

So what is the goal with this change? Is this for browserify support?

I'm not willing to add the built/minified code to the repository, but NPM supports sending custom packages so it's easy to add a build and release script if NPM is the target.

yes this is very useful... for install all components by simple "npm install" in yooour project that include jquery-powertip

Merged in the package.json update. I found a way to publish without needing to include the dist folder in the git repository so I left those commits out of the merge.
